Due to continued inflation in raw materials, tight labor markets, and logistics challenges, Central Ink has no choice but to raise prices on all printing inks, coatings, and consumables.
In order to provide quality products and services, we must offset these unprecedented cost increases. Passing on additional costs to our customers is never an easy decision. We are grateful for your ongoing support.
Effective October 1st, ink pricing will be increased by 7%.

Effective May 15th, 2022, $0.10 surcharge for all ink products.
After much analysis on the current hyperinflationary environment, we have deemed it necessary to implement a surcharge.
Rising crude prices and supply bottlenecks at refineries have driven the cost of the oils and solvents further than expected. In addition to that, the subsidized renewable fuel space has increased demand for many bio-renewable materials used in printing inks, driving costs up on our resins and plant-based oils. Additionally, as we are all aware, transportation costs continue to rise.
Passing on additional costs to our customers is never an easy decision. We are grateful for your ongoing support, and we ensure that these changes will help us provide a secure supply of quality printing inks and support to your business.

Central Ink Corporation Signs Partnerships and Acquisition Agreements
Friday, August 29, 2014
US-based Central Ink Corporation has signed agreements to further expand the company to markets outside of North America.
Central Ink Corporation, which until recently had never been interested in growing the company through mergers or acquisitions, has signed agreements to form a partnership with Rendic Graphics and purchased assets of C&W Pressroom Products (C&W) in an effort to take advantage of industry synergies and provide product diversification.
C&W, which is located in New Jersey, is a company that manufactures and sells pressroom products, other than ink, to the printing industry. Central Ink is in the process of setting up a new manufacturing facility just down the street on Hawthorne Lane in West Chicago, Il. This facility will replace C&W’s current New Jersey manufacturing site and will begin manufacturing products on 1 September.
These additional products will allow Central Ink a greater opportunity to increase its sales with new and current customers.
Mr. Cecil Breen, Central Ink CEO Richard Breen’s father, opened the doors of what is now the Central Ink Corporation in 1933. Central Ink Corporation has survived and flourished as a stand-alone company focusing on organic growth since the doors opened.
